Rain or Shine, You Showed Up for HfH Supportive Housing!
We at HfH Supportive Housing (Housing for Homeless) want to extend a massive THANK YOU to everyone who braved the unexpected rain and came out to our fundraiser at Village Idiot Pub last Friday night! Despite the weather throwing us a curveball, several hundred of you amazing supporters showed up, proving that community spirit can’t be dampened!
Together, we collected over $500 in donations and a mountain of essential daily needs products – all of which will directly benefit those experiencing homelessness in Brevard County. In addition to our own residents, we partner with local schools in our service area, stocking ‘giving closets’ and helping low-income families meet an ongoing need by providing hygiene products and undergarments to underserved K-8 school children. Huge thanks to Village Idiot Pub for being such fantastic hosts, even as our initial plans for a street closure changed.
But the good news doesn’t stop there!
Village Idiot Pub, recognizing your incredible support, has invited us back for a redo fundraiser on May 10th! This time, with a guaranteed street shutdown (weather permitting, of course!), we’re planning an even bigger celebration. ☀️
