We’re taking a trip down memory lane to the exciting day we celebrated the grand opening of Orchid Lake, our newest affordable housing community in Cocoa, Florida! The ribbon cutting ceremony was a momentous occasion, marking the completion of a project that will provide safe, affordable housing for 90 income-qualifying residents.
The atmosphere was electric as community leaders, donors, volunteers, and the HfH team came together to witness this important milestone. Speeches were given, stories of hope and resilience were shared, and the ribbon was finally cut, officially opening the doors to this vibrant new community.
Orchid Lake offers more than just a roof over someone’s head. It provides a comprehensive range of services, including case management, job training, and mental health support, empowering residents to build a brighter future. This holistic approach ensures that individuals have the tools and resources they need to thrive and achieve their full potential.
