These are new apartments currently under construction and projected to be completed spring 2024. Orchid Lake, a vibrant new community offering 90 accessible and affordable apartments, doubling our housing capacity to 180 units and opening doors to a brighter future for Cocoa residents.

Rooted in Support, Reaching Diverse Needs:

45apartments will provide a safe haven for individuals and families escaping homelessness, and rents will not be higher than 30% of the individual or family’s income.

While the remaining 45 offer stability for those facing housing challenges, will be for “workforce” individuals and families earning up to $56,000 a year, and rents will probably be, depending on inflation.

What Services will be Available?

There will be case management supportive services for those individuals and families saved from homelessness. All individuals and families will be able to take advantage of a computer room, gymnasium and visiting agencies such as Brevard Health Alliance and CareerSource will be providing regular services.
