HfH Supportive Housing – Orchid Lake, Fox Pointe & Forest Glen Communities
HfH Supportive Housing welcomes volunteers who want to help create safe, connected, welcoming communities where residents can build stability, independence, and stronger connections with their neighbors and the broader community.
Volunteer opportunities are available at Orchid Lake and Fox Pointe Apartments, which serves individuals and families with children transitioning from homelessness, and Forest Glen, which serves adults age 62 and older.
Volunteers do not need to be social-service professionals. Many opportunities are based on sharing your time, skills, interests, and willingness to build positive relationships with residents.

Our Goal
The purpose of volunteering at HfH Supportive Housing is not simply to provide a service. It is to build community.
Volunteers help residents develop relationships, learn new skills, discover opportunities, participate in their community, and build confidence and independence.
At Orchid Lake, volunteers can help individuals and families and children experience a stronger sense of community and opportunity.
At Fox Pointe, volunteers can help individuals and families and children experience a stronger sense of community and opportunity.
At Forest Glen, volunteers can help older adults remain connected, engaged, active, and independent while reducing social isolation.
Every volunteer brings something valuable. Sometimes the most meaningful contribution is simply showing up, listening, sharing a skill, and helping a resident feel that they belong.
