REPORTS TO: Director of Operations

LOCATION: Cocoa

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE/SCOPE:

To support the Director of Operations in ensuring that our social services staff receive the support that they require to be successful. To ensure the agency’s service capabilities and performance match our operational abilities as the leading provider of supportive housing in Central Florida and beyond.

WORK PERFORMED:

· Work with the Case Manager Coordinator, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure effective service delivery

· With Case Manager Coordinator, plan, organize, and coordinate various aspects of case management services; including referrals, program planning, monitoring, assessment, and evaluation of resident needs and services

· Focus on assessing client needs, coordinating services, and connecting individuals/families with resources like housing, healthcare, and job training.

· Direct client support and program implementation at the community level, making sure their case managers are providing the support to their clients..

· Work with interdisciplinary teams to help facilitate the development of successful Program Plans for clients

· Manage an effective centralized administration center that encompasses all of the agency’s social service programs and program data

· Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and leadership to review, update, and ensure alignment of agency policies and procedures with best practices in social work, trauma-informed care, and client-centered service delivery.

· Contribute clinical insight and social work expertise to the development and implementation of the agency’s strategic plan, ensuring alignment with client needs, ethical standards, and community-based best practices..

· Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies: Including confidentiality (HIPAA), Medicaid billing, safety, and housing guidelines.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED/DESIRED:

· Masters degree in Social Work required.

· Certified LCSW or similar

· Minimum of 5 years recent social work skills and experience.

· 5 years supervisory experience with for-profit or non-profit organizations.

· Experience in meeting aggressive goals with demanding service requirements

· Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at every level of business experience – from partner Executive Directors to people who are homeless and at the lowest point of their lives.

LOCATION: Cocoa

POSITION SUPERVISED: Operations Director, GPD Program Director, Accounting Manager, Grants Administrator

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE/SCOPE:

Responsible to the Board of Directors for the overall direction of the agency. Direct the company’s operations to meet budget and business goals. Build and mentor the management team. Evaluate and manage risks to ensure the business stays legally compliant and financially healthy. Report regularly to the Board of Directors on performance and strategic initiatives.

WORK PERFORMED:

● Ensure support provided to residents is meeting their needs within the guidelines of our funding providers, and the direction of our Board.

● Provide leadership, direction and motivation to create a positive and inclusive working environment

● Ensure that the management team and Case Managers have the required resources and support to enable residents who were previously homeless to achieve housing stability and self-sufficiency.

● Prepare and present regular progress reports to the Board with recommendations for new policies or policy modifications, additional resources, and/or other changes needed for agency success.

● Measure program success using logic models to determine outcomes and potential need for modification of program goals and objectives.

● Measure the success of our programs by establishing effective program exit plans, and monitoring program graduate activity.

● Work with the management team to ensure that changes to any external agency guideline is translated to internal policies for implementation on the due date.

● Conduct quarterly reviews with each member of the management team to assess progress and agree on future actions.

● Participate in and conduct pre-audits of fiscal and programmatic data to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

● Represent the agency in several performance audits conducted by external agencies.

● Ensure that the annual budget is presented to the Board by the October Board Meeting.

● Work with external resources at the City, County, State and Federal levels to ensure successful new grant applications and renewal of current grants.

● Partner with the Operations Director and developers to identify, fund and build new LIHTC properties in Brevard and Volusia Counties.

● Analyze each LIHTC proposal prior to application to assure the Board that each project fits with the agency’s mission and financial goals.

● Develop and execute long-term business strategies aligned with company vision.

● Secure long-term corporate funding to supplement government funding support.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED/DESIRED:

• Administration with concentration in non-profit leadership, or related field.

• Proven leadership experience with a minimum of 7-10 years in executive leadership role, preferably in the nonprofit and social services sector

• Five years of experience with property and/or housing development projects, including affordable housing, supportive housing, and/or community-based real estate projects.

Demonstrated success in fundraising/fund development, including government contracts, foundations, and major donors

• Experience in meeting aggressive goals with demanding service requirements and limited resources.

• Proven track record of team building and working with diverse program groups.

• Ability to manage staff and a management team in an emotional and often subjective environment.

• Strong ability and willingness to communicate at every level both orally and in writing – from large company CEO’s to people who are homeless and at the lowest point of their lives.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $90,000 – $120,000
